Many climbers, even expert mountaineers, are drawn to Mount Everest.
There are two primary ascent routes: one enters Nepal from the southeast, sometimes referred to as the “normal route,” and the other enters Tibet from the north.
Everest includes risks including altitude sickness, weather, and wind, as well as perils from avalanches and the Khumbu Icefall, while not providing any significant technical climbing obstacles on the conventional route.
Over 300 individuals have passed away on Everest as of 2019, many of whose corpses are still on the peak.
The length of daylight hours increases with height. The sun rises sooner and sets later as a result. Sunset would occur 15 minutes later on Mount Everest’s peak than it would at sea level because of its elevation of 8,848 meters (29,029 feet). The dawn would also occur around 15 minutes earlier than it would at sea level.
